Tips to Keep Cool When Temperatures Soar at the Lake of the Ozarks

It has been a hot summer when it comes to how many people are buying and selling real estate at the Lake of the Ozarks right now.  Just like the market, it looks temperatures are on the rise as well.  At your Favorite Real Estate Team, we are thrilled for all our clients who are now calling the lake area home, and we want you to enjoy all there is to do here in the summer.  Since the heat is on, we wanted to share some fun things to do to beat the heat since moving to a new home at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Caves.

Missouri is called The Cave State, and for good reason.  We are fortunate to have a number of unique and beautiful caves around the lake and they are all a comfortable 55-60 degrees.  From caves in the State Park to commercial caves, you can tour several and see something different in each one.  The best thing is you won’t even break a sweat.

Pools, water slides, indoor & outdoor water parks.

There are SO many choices at the Lake of the Ozarks when it comes to these.  We have both indoor and outdoor water parks available so no matter what the weather, you have options.  The lake area also has countless swimming pools as well as resorts and restaurants with pools designed for parents to have fun while watching their kids play safely nearby

Lake time.

Of course, it is the Lake of the Ozarks and that means you have tons of things to do in and on the lake to keep cool.  Take advantage of the opportunity to go wake boarding, or hover boarding.  You can rent a PWC to cruise and explore the lake to your heart’s content.  There are also public beaches and swimming areas and even nearby rivers you can float.

If that doesn’t spark some ideas, we have more!  For entertainment in the comfort of air conditioning there are indoor venues you can enjoy.  You can go bowling, see a live music show at the theatre, take in the latest movie at the cinema, and check out an arcade or indoor go-cart track to take you back to when you were a kid.  Then treat yourself to some scrumptious frozen custard or ice cream available in several locations.  You might just have to try more than one.  For indoor activities to suit the more refined taste, the lake also offers many museums and art galleries as well.  You can even find a painting party if you would like.

If any of these ideas appeal to you, you can find more details with a quick online search for these topics and by visiting funlake.com.  We hope you are loving your new home at the Lake of the Ozarks and the amazing lifestyle that comes with living in this area.  As real estate experts at the Lake of the Ozarks, we spend each and every day helping people realize their dream of finding the perfect home at the Lake of the Ozarks and we love what we do.  If you are reading this but have not yet begun your search to buy a home at the Lake of the Ozarks, Your Favorite Real EstateTeam has the experience and the heart to find you a lake home you will love.  Just call 573-240-6052 or go to our website to get started today!
