Living at the lake means hosting family and friends, and that creates a need for parking.  That can be challenging in the Ozarks, especially for lake front or second-tier homes.  Whenever you have the opportunity to create more parking, buyers will definitely take notice of that as an added bonus.

When a person is looking to buy a waterfront home at the Lake of the Ozarks, you can be sure they plan on spending A LOT of time on the dock.  The more comfortable and appealing the dock is the better.  Replacing old boards or updating to composite material is a start, or power washing and re-staining the wood to give it a fresh look will help.  Also, anything that keep you from having to go back to the house as often … a mini kitchen or bar, a mini fridge, a storage box or room, etc. are all added features that can add value in the eyes of a buyer.
